Stanborough House is situated in beautiful, rural South Devon, in the South West of England.

It lies 6 miles south of Totnes, 7 miles west of Dartmouth and 8 miles south of Dartington.

Totnes is a vibrant market town with wealth of shops specialising in books, antiques, arts, natural products and foods as well as a lively market every Friday and Saturday. It has one of the finest examples of a Norman motte and bailey castle in England.

Dartmouth is a stunning historic seaport town situated on the hillside along the mouth of the River Dart. There are some fine restaurants and boutique shops in the town.

Dartington Estate was bought in the 1920's by visionaries, Dorothy and Leonard Elmhurst and now hosts a variety of cultural events, such as Ways with Words literary festival and the Summer School of Music.

Stanborough House is also within easy driving distance of Dartmoor National Park and the Devon Coastal Path.
