SOPHIE PARTRIDGE

Sophie Partridge first saw and fell in love with Stanborough House in 1998 when she bought it and spent many years restoring both the house and the garden.

True to her Bloomsbury family roots, Sophie loves writing and literature and graduated from the MA course in creative writing at Bath Spa in 2008.

In 1994 Sophie trained in aromatherapy and practised for many years. She is interested in many different kinds of natural healing.

She lived for 14 years in Tuscany, Italy on a farm that produced wine, olive oil and sheep's cheese. This is where she learned to cook and to appreciate good food. In 2009 she and Pete MacDonald participated in the BBC production of Instant Restaurant and won. Sophie cooks all meals for guests at Stanborough.

The Tarot House

Pete MacDonald has worked in many fields during his life-time, including the RSPCA and the music business. In 1993 Pete became a psychic consultant with special emphasis on the Tarot. His clients include many celebrities from show business, film, sports and politicians and many other people from all walks of life. He has devoted his life to the Tarot. He has taught many people to read the Tarot and has lectured and read all over the world, including London, Europe, Canada and the U.S.A. People now travel to him for readings in his Tarot House and Individual Transformational Retreats at Stanborough.
